Jaeger-LeCoultre «Reverso Duoface» BASEL 94
This «Reverso Duoface»’s most original features are its pair of back to back dials showing the time in as many time zones. One is an original Reverso dial face showing the hours, minutes and seconds. The other presents very different markings : two circles arrayed within a rectangle, providing the hours and minutes plus a 24-hour readout. This timepiece features a further, patented, development built into its 21’600 v.p.h. highfrequency Calibre 854 movement : a single wheel drives the minute hand on both dials, doing away with complex geartrains. The time-setting mechanism is equally ingenious : the hour and 24-hour hands of the second dial can be advanced simply by successive presses on a pusbpiece. Available in steel or in 18K yellow gold, the «larger» Reverso case comes either with a metal bracelet or with a saddle-stitched ostrich strap.
