Rado True Square Open Heart: festive diamonds & glitter

There’s a thrill in the clear, crisp air as the season of ice and snow grows near. Rado welcomes this exciting time of year with a scintillating display of diamonds, light and high-tech ceramic. Two festive new True Square Open Heart models make their glittering debut with sparkling diamonds and polished white or polished plasma high-tech ceramic cases and bracelets.

T

he signature Open Heart cut-away design offers penetrating views into the heart of the watch, turning the new models into a seductive expression of iconic design, innovative tech and high-fashion glamour on the wrist.

There’s an intriguing story behind the new watches. It’s all about light in this merry season, the way it falls on diamonds, dials and high-tech ceramic. Icy winter rays illuminate the 12 diamond hour markers and dials featuring a rhodium-coloured surface that glitters and glows. Like a luminous, diamond-studded star, it draws the eye through cut-away windows into the beating heart of the watch, an open invitation to an emotional connection. The same clear light takes on a soft, gentle shine as it shimmers over the surface of polished white and polished plasma high-tech ceramic cases and bracelets.

The new white True Square Open Heart features a white high-tech ceramic case, crown and bracelet, and a white flange surrounding the dial. A low-relief minute track flanks rose gold-coloured hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova® highlighting, and a rose gold-coloured seconds hand. The yellow gold-coloured hands on the polished plasma version are circled by a grey flange and a minute track in relief.

Both models are powered by the Rado calibre R734, a 25-jewel, 3-hand automatic movement with anti-magnetic NivachronTM hairspring and an 80-hour power reserve. Swiss-made precision timekeeping and exquisite high-tech ceramic comfort combine with iconic Rado design to create pure elegance on the wrist.
